My client's furry friends

My Client's Pets...

This is Elvis Pussley.  He is hilarious because his lip goes up on the side like Elvis Pressley's did.  He is very laid back and cool.  Click on the Picture to see more pets...

Tarzan is a very good hunter.  He has brought many critters home to his family, including rabbits, possums, rats, mice, moles, birds...His owners had a cat door until he started bringing the prey in the house alive, and that was the end of the cat door.  He likes to climb trees and play dead.

This is Einstein or Eini as she is knows to her friends.  She is an English Bull Dog and is significantly larger now than when this picture was taken.  She likes skateboarding, digging and cuddling.  She loves treats and making friends at the dog park.

This is Portia.  She is a Whippet and is very gentle and feminine.  They say that Whippets are the cat of the dog world.  It is funny how much she acts like a cat but a little more affectionate.

The feminine side

I think every girl loves the feminine side of decor. Sometimes we can't act on it, because of the men in our lives but if you could, wouldn't you have a really girly place of your own? Maybe a beautiful closet or wrapping room (omg! A WRAPPING ROOM???), or a pretty bed or soft hammock full of pillows to dream on. Oh the possibilities...Take a look at some of these pretty looks.  Click on the picture to see more...

This month, great deals...

If you are thinking about having shutters installed, this month is the best price of the year. 25 year warranty and absolutely beautiful. Also, Hunter Douglas is launching some fantastic new product lines. Shade O Matic released their new NHL shades, perfect for a child's room, sports bar or man cave. Maxxmar re-launched their Vertical Shadings, great for sliding glass doors (really cool look). New Verticals and Perceptions from Levolor. Great time to freshen up your window coverings at great prices. http://www.michellelittle.ca/

Toronto Home Show

The Toronto Home Show has just concluded and was a big success.  Sears had a large booth located near the Design home, show casing a lot of new products that are up and coming in the Decor marketplace, as well as all the other product lines that we carry.

The design home was a cross between very rustic and ultra modern.  Not everyone's taste, but showcasing the Transitional Design theme.

Spring

I am sure we are all tired of the dark days, cold weather and being locked up in our houses for the last 5 months. Winter is always a low time of year for me. I hate taking down the Christmas decorations. The house always looks so dull. The sun doesn't beam through the windows. The weather just gets worse and worse.

Luckily for us, this winter has been pretty mild so being out doors for a little while was not out of the question. And, spring is only a couple of weeks away. I can't wait to feel that warm sun on my skin.

Before we know it, we will be sipping wine on the veranda. Here are some pictures of inspiration for your out door living areas...click on the picture for more outdoor spaces.
