Here are some pictures of the specacular Pink Ribbon House that is a collaboration of several designers. There is a great use of GREIGE (grey/beige) here and a mix of rustic and traditional furnishings. Click on the picture to see some fantastic inspiration...
It is amazing how when you use such a neutral pallet, the way any colour pops right out at you.

Before and after...
Take a look at a few before and after shots from recent renovations. It is always amazing to see the room transform. Click on the picture for more pics.
Drapery or no drapery
The current trend for window coverings is blinds and shutters. I think the reason is that they are easy to select and they are not fussy. I agree it is easier to clean shutters than lined silk drapes but nothing adds warmth to a room like drapery. It is an investment for sure, and can take several hours to find just the right fabric from hundreds of swatches, but you will never be sorry. They just finish a room beautifully. The makeover on the cheap

My client's furry friends
My Client's Pets...
This is Einstein or Eini as she is knows to her friends. She is an English Bull Dog and is significantly larger now than when this picture was taken. She likes skateboarding, digging and cuddling. She loves treats and making friends at the dog park.
This is Portia. She is a Whippet and is very gentle and feminine. They say that Whippets are the cat of the dog world. It is funny how much she acts like a cat but a little more affectionate.

The feminine side
I think every girl loves the feminine side of decor. Sometimes we can't act on it, because of the men in our lives but if you could, wouldn't you have a really girly place of your own? Maybe a beautiful closet or wrapping room (omg! A WRAPPING ROOM???), or a pretty bed or soft hammock full of pillows to dream on. Oh the possibilities...Take a look at some of these pretty looks.
