Drapery or no drapery

The current trend for window coverings is blinds and shutters. I think the reason is that they are easy to select and they are not fussy. I agree it is easier to clean shutters than lined silk drapes but nothing adds warmth to a room like drapery. It is an investment for sure, and can take several hours to find just the right fabric from hundreds of swatches, but you will never be sorry.   They just finish a room beautifully.  Click on the picture to see more...
